Purple Magazine (and its relatives) is one of my favorite magazines. I was recently looking at this 1998 issue shown here, and it has remained fresh and extremely relevant in today's visual world. For me, this is the sign of true quality for any object.
Perhaps this issue is so interesting to me because it is a snapshot of creative culture right before it was subsumed by digitalization. Am I nostalgic for this era?
